Overview
West Ham United is looking for enthusiastic placement students to join our Football Analysis teams for the 2026/27 season. You’ll be working across the Men’s First Team, Women’s First Team, or Academy (please specify your preference when applying!). You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, elite environment — capturing training footage, analysing matches, supporting GPS and data monitoring, and helping deliver insights that influence performance on and off the pitch.

Position
What You’ll Be Doing (Your Matchday & Training Duties)
- Supporting all areas of training and match analysis
- Assisting with daily player monitoring
- Filming training, matchdays, and rehab sessions
- Helping collect, record, and manage GPS and training-load data (pre-, live- and post-training)
- Contributing to individual and team analysis, pre- and post-match
- Assisting with tracking and analysing West Ham loan players
- Ensuring all analysis equipment is maintained and ready for matchdays
- Working closely with First Team Analysts to deliver high-quality insights, bringing energy, creativity, and innovation
Requirements
- Currently studying for an undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Performance Analysis) and eligible for a placement year
- Knowledge or experience of Hudl software
- Able to travel and commit to regular weekend work

Additional Information
This is a full-time placement, and flexibility is key — you’ll be expected to work in line with team schedules and player availability. Regular performance reviews will support your development throughout the season.
