The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is a world leading UK government body ensuring markets work fairly for consumers. Our Commercial Team plays a vital role in enabling this mission by delivering high quality, compliant procurement and robust contract management that supports every part of the organisation.
You will deliver procurement and contract management functions across the CMA. This will involve the placement and management of contracts across a variety of spend categories, including People Services, Technology, Corporate, Buildings and Market Research. You’ll also have the opportunity to shape commercial business in the CMA and deliver marketplace insight and expertise.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be professionally qualified (MCIPS) or have a suitable equivalent (or working towards). You’ll have experience of successfully delivering procurement activity within a public sector environment or similarly regulated sectors. It is also important that you have knowledge and demonstrable experience of both contract and supplier management, and commercial contracting in relevant areas.
