Competence Assurance Solutions Ltd (CAS) is looking for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our team of auditors, conducting organisational and course audits for the DVSAβs DCPC, TDCPC, DGDT, and DDR training and testing schemes across the UK, both remotely and in-person. This is a contract opportunity for self-employed professionals accustomed to working on a freelance basis. You will be supported by our Operations Team, an Auditor Coach, and our internal systems. Competitive fee rates are paid. An experienced auditor typically undertakes 80β100 audits per year.
About You
- You will have experience of quality assurance in an education or training setting.
- You will have relevant sectoral knowledge and experience.
- You will be well-organised, attentive to detail, a quick learner, empathetic, a good communicator, and digitally literate.
- You will have no personal or professional interests that compete with those of the organisations or trainers we are auditing.
Qualifications
- The following qualifications are a minimum requirement:
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (or equivalent) or working towards/interested in this qualification.
- In addition, a mix of the following qualifications are required:
- Already obtained or working towards Training Delivery RQF Level 3 or equivalent.
- DCPC β A full, clean category C/D driverβs licence.
- DCPC β Registered as an ADI and/or qualified on a professional PCV/LGV register.
- DGDT β A current ADR Driver Training Certificate.
- DDR β RQF Level 3 Understanding Substance Misuse or equivalent.
