First Call Contract Services are looking for 3.5T van drivers for our well-known client in Washington. To be accepted in this role you must have held a full UK driving licence for at least one year, be able to drive a 3.5T van, have no more than 6 points on your licence, and be comfortable with heavy lifting. This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate with an immediate start available.
Responsibilities:
- Drive to customer houses, delivering flat pack furniture across the region and surrounding areas.
- Manage customer communication and organization together with a Driver's Mate.
- Load, unload and deliver furniture to the customer's room of choice.
- Perform heavy lifting as required.
Job Details:
- Start times: 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM or 01:30 PM – 10:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
- Between 15 and 27 deliveries per shift.
- Physically capable of heavy lifting.
Pay: £12.71 per hour (PAYE)
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence held for at least one year.
- Licensed to drive a 3.5T van.
- No more than 6 points on licence.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting.
