We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to work for Royal Mail as a Post Person. Pay rates from £13.37 per hour. This Xmas seasonal position is based in Rochdale.

Shifts for Royal Mail Post Person

• Hours: Shifts between 8am-10pm – Mon‑sun
• Start date: ASAP

Pay For Royal Mail Post Person

• £13.37 per hour
• Overtime after 40 hours @ £16.33
• Bank holiday rate £19.59
• Paid weekly

Main Duties of Royal Mail Post Person

• Sortation of rounds prior to departure
• Vehicle checks
• Driving manual vehicle to delivery locations or working on foot
• Delivering letters and small parcels to home and business addresses

About You

You must hold a valid UK manual driving licence, with no more than 6 points for minor offences (no IN, DD, DR). You should be physically fit, happy to drive an company‑issued vehicle or work on foot, and willing to work outside in all weather conditions. The successful candidate will be required to complete the Royal Mail Vetting Process, which includes a basic DBS check paid for by you.
