Refuse Loader

We have an exciting opportunity to work for Braintree District Council on an upcoming project, collecting local waste and delivering new bins to local residents. Pay rates from £12.21 per hour. The role of Refuse Loader is based in the Braintree area.

Shifts For Refuse Loader

• Monday – Friday – 07:00 – 15:00

Pay

• £12.21 (£18.31 OT) per hour
• £13.16 (£19.74 OT) per hour after 12 weeks completed

Main Duties Of Refuse Loader

• Working with the local council\’s waste team to collect domestic and commercial waste
• Working with a crew on a refuse truck (no driving involved)
• Learning how to use a rear end loader for wheelie bins
• Representing the Council while delivering new wheelie bins for upcoming waste collection changes around Braintree area
• Observing all council health and safety rules
• Finish when the work is done, usually early
