What’s On Offer

  • Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour
  • Shift Pattern: 4-on/ 2-off - May Vary so you must be flexible.
  • Shifts: Early/ Lates / Nights
  • Weekly Pay (every Friday).
  • Full Training provided.
  • Immediate Start!
  • Temp to Perm (performance related).

Key Duties

  • Directing incoming waste deliveries to the correct receptacles.
  • Taking control of the ICW area.
  • Ensuring safety and compliance of Westgate Service yard.
  • Working in a safe and diligent manner so as to ensure own safety and the safety of others.
  • Complying absolutely with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures in place, including those of the MAG and complying with waste legislation when dealing with waste.
  • Reporting unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, near misses, incidents and accidents to both Mitie and MAG via the reporting systems.
  • Directing all incoming waste deliveries to the correct and compliant receptacles and maintaining a record of those delivering.
  • Ensuring all ICW procedures are upheld.
  • Daily cleaning of ICW area, in line with processes.
  • Conduct regular litter picks in the working areas to ensure tidiness and clean working standards.
  • Completing all work related documentation accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring high cleaning standards are consistently met.
  • Great work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be over 18.
  • Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial.
