Working Pattern: 8:00am - 4:00pm (flexible start times available, e.g. 7:00am)

The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to support the effective management of their inventory function within a busy warehouse operation. This role is key to ensuring inventory accuracy, meeting KPIs, and supporting operational teams to reduce stock discrepancies and picking errors. You will work closely with warehouse and inventory management to maintain stock integrity, support audits, and continuously improve inventory processes in line with customer SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PI counts accurately and on time in line with KPI requirements
- Carry out suspense investigations, ensuring discrepancies are thoroughly reviewed and documented
- Process stock adjustments, ensuring all checks are completed and adjustments are fully auditable
- Respond to credit checks and general stock queries within agreed timescales
- Conduct goods-in audits for previous-day bookings
- Perform locked, unlocked, and empty bin checks in line with agreed schedules
- Support warehouse management tasks, including product verification for new lines
- Assist with the day-to-day management of pick runs alongside warehouse managers
- Support the Inventory Supervisor with additional tasks as required
- Proactively identify issues and contribute ideas to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency
- Work in line with company values, promoting a positive and professional working environment
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety procedures

Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience within an Inventory or Stock Control function (management experience desirable)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience using Red Prairie (desirable)
- FLT licence desirable but not essential
