About The Role
We are currently seeking a highly capable Health, Safety & Facilities Manager to join the senior site leadership team. This role is ideal for a motivated and knowledgeable professional with experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, particularly where manual handling equipment is used.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to the General Manager and lead all Health, Safety & Facilities matters across the site.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation and regulations.
- Lead and manage regular safety audits, daily operational frameworks, and ongoing risk assessments.
- Develop and implement site-wide HSE policies and a continuous improvement plan.
- Act as a key liaison with regulatory authorities, ensuring accurate representation and compliance.
- Maintain and manage statutory inspection schedules and facilities management contractors.
- Lead incident investigations, ensure timely reporting (including RIDDOR), and implement preventative measures.
- Support the training and development of site staff on health and safety best practices
Candidate Requirements
Knowledge And Experience
- NEBOSH Diploma (Part 1) or NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar role within warehousing, logistics, or industrial operations.
- Strong understanding of HSE legislation and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiar with facilities and maintenance management.

- Excellent communicator and team player.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to take initiative and manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment.
