About The Role
We are currently seeking a highly capable Health, Safety & Facilities Manager to join the senior site leadership team. This role is ideal for a motivated and knowledgeable professional with experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, particularly where manual handling equipment is used.
Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the General Manager and lead all Health, Safety & Facilities matters across the site.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation and regulations.
  • Lead and manage regular safety audits, daily operational frameworks, and ongoing risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement site-wide HSE policies and a continuous improvement plan.
  • Act as a key liaison with regulatory authorities, ensuring accurate representation and compliance.
  • Maintain and manage statutory inspection schedules and facilities management contractors.
  • Lead incident investigations, ensure timely reporting (including RIDDOR), and implement preventative measures.
  • Support the training and development of site staff on health and safety best practices

Candidate Requirements
Knowledge And Experience

  • NEBOSH Diploma (Part 1) or NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within warehousing, logistics, or industrial operations.
  • Strong understanding of HSE legislation and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiar with facilities and maintenance management.

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to take initiative and manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment.
