Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised furniture delivery business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £13.00 per hour, rising to £13.29 after transitioning onto a permanent contract, before landing at £14.98 once all training is completed. The role of 3.5T Driver is based in Chelmsford.
This role is a temp-to-perm contract, with successful candidates going onto a permanent contract after 10 weeks.
You will need to have been driving for at least 12 months, alongside previous van driving experience.

Main Duties Of 7.5T Driver
- Loading vehicle and carrying out vehicle checks before embarking on journey.
- Driving to the location and, alongside a Driver\’s Mate, carrying furniture into customers\’ house and getting it installed.
- Maintaining good customer service throughout delivery, representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
- New starters are expected to carry out 5/6 drops per day.
