We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Class 2 multi-drop delivery drivers to join our successful team at a well-known Distribution Centre based out of Aylesford. These roles will appeal to an individual who loves working in a team to deliver exceptional service.
Shifts are Monday to Friday. Hourly rate is £18 per hour, Saturday will be paid at £22 per hour. Start times between 05.00 - 06.00, flexibility is required, minimum 8h paid.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Company vehicles and operate Company equipment in a safe and proper manner in accordance with Company Policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Assist the loading operation in movement of vehicles onto bays.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times and take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
- Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers' products.
- Picking orders at the point of delivery following the invoice and unloading the vehicle.
- Carry out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to the operation of any vehicle, reporting any defects immediately.
- This role requires the ability to self-manage and use initiative for solving problems.
- Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
