We’re looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Sales Executive to join our growing Sales team. This role will play a key part in expanding our customer base, building strong relationships with new clients, and driving new business revenue.

You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, generating leads, and converting prospects through a targeted approach including tele sales, LinkedIn outreach, and email campaigns. If you thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and enjoy building relationships, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow the new business sales for account clients.
  • Work with the marketing team to achieve sales targets.
  • Attend customer meetings, where necessary.
  • Build a pipeline of potential new clients.
  • Ensure the CRM is up to date at all times and allocate tasks to the wider team where necessary.
  • Manage the new business Sales lead generation via CRM system.
  • Utilise current data and acquire new leads through various platforms.
  • Manage new business KPI’s and present in meetings, as required.
  • Support with inbound new client enquiries.
  • Support the wider team with client knowledge to help with the implementation of new customer accounts.
  • Attend trade and networking events as required.
  • Explore new opportunities for products/services.
  • Provide feedback to the Senior Sales Manager on market knowledge to ensure pricing is competitive.
  • Advise the Senior Sales Manager of any potential issues encountered while conducting the role.
  • Act in accordance with the Company values and act as a role model for other company staff.
  • Adhere to all business processes and support change within the business.
  • Work closely with other areas of the business, in particular Marketing, Finance, IT and other group businesses as required.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a sales or tele sales role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
