We’re looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Sales Executive to join our growing Sales team. This role will play a key part in expanding our customer base, building strong relationships with new clients, and driving new business revenue.
You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, generating leads, and converting prospects through a targeted approach including tele sales, LinkedIn outreach, and email campaigns. If you thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and enjoy building relationships, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities- Grow the new business sales for account clients.
- Work with the marketing team to achieve sales targets.
- Attend customer meetings, where necessary.
- Build a pipeline of potential new clients.
- Ensure the CRM is up to date at all times and allocate tasks to the wider team where necessary.
- Manage the new business Sales lead generation via CRM system.
- Utilise current data and acquire new leads through various platforms.
- Manage new business KPI’s and present in meetings, as required.
- Support with inbound new client enquiries.
- Support the wider team with client knowledge to help with the implementation of new customer accounts.
- Attend trade and networking events as required.
- Explore new opportunities for products/services.
- Provide feedback to the Senior Sales Manager on market knowledge to ensure pricing is competitive.
- Advise the Senior Sales Manager of any potential issues encountered while conducting the role.
- Act in accordance with the Company values and act as a role model for other company staff.
- Adhere to all business processes and support change within the business.
- Work closely with other areas of the business, in particular Marketing, Finance, IT and other group businesses as required.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a sales or tele sales role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
