Challenge, support and inspire all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes through the development and delivery of an innovative and creative curriculum in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
Requirements:
- Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member or undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update.
Please note that PVG members' records are constantly updated with any new vetting information that arises. Any relevant information disclosed on a PVG Scheme Record or Scheme Record Update will be discussed with the applicant prior to any formal offer of employment.
Responsibilities:
- Follow national guidance in relation to pre-employment checks namely “Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment”.
- Provide details of a minimum of two appropriate and relevant references during the application process.
- One reference must be from your current or most recent employer and from an appropriate senior manager.
This is a temporary full-time post based at Grange Academy, Kilmarnock. The post will commence on 17 August 2026 and is temporary until 30 June 2027. The hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at the direction of the line manager. The full-time salary of the post is between £42,018 - £52,740 per annum.
