Our Estimator will be responsible for ensuring the accurate costings associated with our Fire Sprinkler Projects. With excellent communication skills and high attention to detail, you will have a pivotal role at Compco Fire Systems. Together, we can redefine what’s possible for the future of the Fire Protection Industry.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Review Tender Documents and Program of Works.
- Assess Scopes of Works (Ranging from Small Works to Complex Major Projects).
- Measuring and Quantifying Sprinkler Heads, Pipework, etc.
- Carry Out Site Surveys as Required.
- Cost and Assess Values of Contracts.
- Send Enquiries to Supply Chain.
- Prepare Tender Documentation, Presentations and Submittals.
What You’ll Need:
- At least 2 years in an Estimator role or similar.
- Previous experience within the Construction Industry and with basic knowledge of MEP services.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Existing Knowledge of Software Such as AutoCAD/Revit would be advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Track record in finding solutions to problems whilst meeting deadlines.
This is an office-based role and would require the successful Estimator to attend Monday-Friday at Cleeve House, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4YX.
