We are seeking a motivated Leasing Agent to join our centralised leasing team, with a base in Walton-on-Thames, Greater London. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in the growing Build-to-Rent (BTR) industry, working for a company that is expanding its footprint in the UK and Ireland.
In this role, you will be responsible for promoting our high-end residential units in Walton-on-Thames, conducting property tours, and engaging with prospective residents to drive lease signings. Your focus will be on outbound sales, providing exceptional customer service, building relationships, and maintaining a positive living environment for residents.
Under the guidance of our corporate and management team you will help to implement marketing strategies, track leasing metrics, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidates will have a passion for sales, strong communication skills, and a commitment to enhancing the resident experience in a dynamic and collaborative team setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Management: Outbound Sales: Conduct and lead sales activities through calls, texts, emails, and in-person interactions to generate leads and convert prospects into residents. Perform corporate outreach activities, hold open days and attend networking events to cultivate leads.
- Lead Management: Utilise our CRM system (Hubspot) to manage and track leads effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and maintaining accurate records.
- Viewings: Conduct in-person viewings as well as facilitate virtual property viewings, showcasing the features and benefits of our communities.
- Lease Administration Progression: Follow all the necessary steps to progress an application through the process from lead to lease, from applicant to resident. This process includes ensuring all statutory documentation has been sent to residents, the referencing process has been followed and that tenancy paperwork including tenancy agreements are accurate and created within a timely manner.
- Sales Techniques: Lead Generation: Actively seek out and generate leads through various marketing strategies, networking, and community engagement.
- Follow-Up Communication: Maintain consistent follow-up with leads to cultivate relationships and encourage lease signings, while effectively tracking interactions using HubSpot (CRM).
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about local rental market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies to effectively position the property and adjust sales tactics.
- Sales Targets and KPIs: Work diligently to ensure you and the property meet specified targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the management team.
- Customer Service: Client relationships: Foster open and effective communication channels with both corporate and residential clients to ensure the leasing team’s success and optimise performance.
- Resident Support: Provide exceptional service to current and prospective residents, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction and retention.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and address potential challenges in the leasing process swiftly and effectively, utilising analytical skills to develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.
- Resident Relations & Renewals: Resident Engagement: Foster a positive community environment through regular communication and events, ensuring residents feel valued and connected while enhancing overall resident satisfaction and retention.
- Renewal Management: Assist the Leasing manager with renewals by proactively engaging with current residents to facilitate lease renewals, addressing concerns and highlighting property benefits to encourage long-term occupancy.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Sales or customer service qualification, or equivalent experience in a sales environment where meeting and exceeding sales targets is a key KPI in their role.
- Skills And Experience: Demonstrated success in a sales environment, preferably within B2C sectors such as BTR or hospitality sectors, with a minimum of 2 years of experience (desired).
- Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills with a record of successful sales for example leases and renewals, including the ability to address client concerns effectively (desired).
- Knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act: Familiarity with the legal requirements associated with the Tenancies Act. Knowledge of dealing with the Residential Tenancy Board (desired).
- Customer Service Excellence: Proven background in delivering exceptional customer service, with experience in resolving customer issues and enhancing customer satisfaction (essential).
- Multitasking and Priority Setting: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritising responsibilities to meet deadlines and achieve sales goals in a fast-paced environment (essential).

- Working Hours: You will work on a rota which covers Monday – Sunday with some evening attendance required.
