Role Summary:

In your role as Procurement Associate, you will play a vital role in managing procurement processes for the CompassRock Real Estate portfolio. You will collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders, and ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of services, supplies and equipment. You will have strong data analysis skills, with the ability to analyse and derive insight from pricing structures and complex datasets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct supplier evaluation and selection, negotiations, and contracting.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness (e.g., procurement process, performance reporting).
  • Prepare and control procurement and operational documents
  • Track contracts and orders using company systems
  • Enter purchase order or contract data into management information systems
  • Create and review reports
  • Maintain collaborative partnerships with suppliers
  • Resolve procurement queries promptly
  • Escalate emerging risks to necessary stakeholders
  • Assist in developing automated procurement procedures
  • Write policy documentation

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel.)
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Effective communication with suppliers to ensure quality products at reasonable prices
  • Organisation: Attention to detail and multitasking abilities are crucial for managing multiple projects
  • Problem Solving: Analysing bids, budgets, and researching products to find solutions
  • Attention to Detail: Precise execution of tasks, especially when handling large projects
  • Contract Negotiation: Skill in agreeing to terms with suppliers

Experience:

  • At least two years experience in a related field.
  • Experience in Facilities Management is preferred.
  • Experience in analysing and deriving business strategy insights from complex datasets.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree (e.g., Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Business , Engineering, etc.).
  • Desired: familiarity with purchasing policies, inventory management, and procurement, compliance and property management software. (Meridian, RealPage, SafeContractor, Experian)

Remuneration / Bonuses / Benefits

Base salary: £35,000 to £45,000

Bonus: Discretionary Bonus Scheme

Benefits: Private health insurance; Nest Pension Scheme; Cycle to Work Scheme; Company Sick Pay; 25 days of annual leave

Working Hours:

5-day working week (40 hours) – Monday to Friday.

Location: Office-based (1day WFH).
