Homecare for veterans is a vital component of honoring their service and ensuring they receive the care they deserve. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care to a veteran in their own home. This role involves assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, meal preparation, feeding assistance, medication reminders, mobility assistance, errands/shopping, light housekeeping, and surgery recovery.
Schedule
Monday‑Saturday 9am‑4pm
Essential Job Duties
- The ideal candidate is capable, motivated, and willing to learn and grow as the position evolves.
- Tend to clients’ social and emotional needs by joining them in activities and providing companionship.
- Support mobility (help with walking, transfers or use mobility aids).
- Take clients to their medical appointments or personal errands.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Prepare meals, do laundry and perform light housework.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as dressing, toileting, bathing, grooming and eating.
- Identify and address safety issues in the home or facility.
- Keep accurate records of care provided.
