Support Worker Role – Female Only with EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Working hours Available: Part Time Day shifts available. You will provide support and companionship to our lovely client in her early 20’s by helping her develop life skills and emotional support in the Moss Rose District of Macclesfield. You will be offering a supportive ear and a calm presence whilst still bringing an element of fun into their daily activities and needs. You will be promoting independence with our client and enabling her to live an independent and fulfilling lifestyle. You must be self‑motivated and ensure the quality of support provided is consistent with current legislation. This is a fast paced yet highly rewarding position. You will need to think on your feet, be reliable and punctual, as the lady you support will be relying on you to help them live their best lives!

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing her life skills and personal interests
  • Arranging social activities in the home and in the local community
The Ideal Candidate
  • Use previous experience and/or existing transferable skills to promote independent living for our client.
  • Must have experience with Mental Health
  • Have a natural sense of empathy and good common sense
  • Must have EXCELLENT communication skills.
  • Will have an easy‑going personality and be understanding of others who may display behaviour that can present challenges
  • Have great organisational skills and ability to think outside the box
  • Are punctual, reliable and have the ability to think quickly and effectively
