This is your opportunity to join our fabulous, fast-growing company as our Quality Officer! As the Quality Officer you will have a responsibility for assisting the Head of Quality and Compliance in ensuring continual compliance, auditing, and understanding of regulatory obligations.
Knowledge is Power:
- The Quality officer will have responsibility for the delivery of outcomes described in Compassionate Care’s Quality and Governance Framework.
- The Quality and Compliance Officer will report directly to the Head of Quality and Compliance.
- Responsible for ensuring exceptional person-centered service to our clients and anyone entering the business; commissioners, colleagues, contractors and/or any other person.
- Able to effectively respond to client expectations.
- Responsible for ensuring that any quality & compliance activity implemented is comprehensive, of the highest standard and reviewed on a regular basis.
- To assist in identifying and highlighting any areas for improvement, adhering to budgets given.
- To assist in identifying and raising any growth opportunities for the Service.
- Review dept, processes, procedures & practices to ensure they are effective, efficient, and fit for purpose.
Collaborative Leadership:
- Provide a person-centered approach to anyone who enters the service.
- Work closely with internal and external colleagues/commissioners to ensure that the business is operating in a safe and effective way and that excellent care is being delivered to the clients.
- Develop a thorough understanding of current and future needs.
- Actively work at developing strong and positive working relationships across the business.
- Be a role model for the organisation.
- Work with the Quality and Compliance Team to ensure operational delivery and that all staff are meeting expectations.
- Assist in managing complaints effectively and in a timely fashion.
- Listen to feedback given and make improvements as required.
- Take direction from the Head of Quality and Compliance.
Inspire and Lead:
- Ensure that all required activities are undertaken, executed to a high standard, and delivered on time.
- Work closely with operations to ensure all Quality & Compliance practices/policies/procedures best fit the business.
- Provide coaching and support as required, to assist Managers and their teams with managing their Quality and Compliance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Service Improvement Plans to meet Quality and Compliance objectives.
- Identify Employee Relations, performance and capability issues and work with the relevant Quality and Compliance to find appropriate solutions in accordance with best practice, CCG policies and legal frameworks.
