We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic Complex Care Support Worker to join our team and provide dedicated support to a gentleman living in his own home.

About the Person We Support

We are looking for a fun, energetic and person-centred Support Worker to support a gentleman living in his own home. He enjoys keeping active, getting out and about, and making the most of every day.

He loves sport, board games, bowling, going to the cinema and karaoke, so every day can be different. You’ll support him to enjoy the activities he loves, access the community and make positive choices about how he spends his time.

This role is about more than providing care. It’s about building a genuine relationship, promoting independence and supporting him to live a happy, active and fulfilling life on his own terms.

The gentleman we support enjoys an **active and social lifestyle** and likes to keep busy and get out into the community.

Working Hours

This is support and sleep-in position. Support 8am-10pm Sleep- in 10pm -7am.

Hourly Support Worker rate - £13.50 Ph

Sleep in payment £80 per sleep in.

Key Responsibilities

The successful Support Worker will play an important role in supporting him to enjoy his interests, access the community and make positive choices about how he spends his time.

You will provide day-to-day support in his own home, helping him to live as independently as possible while promoting choice, control and a positive, person-centred lifestyle.

• Assisting with daily routines, including mornings and evenings.
• Providing personal care to those who require it.
• Offering companionship and attending social activities such as museum trips, football matches, meals out and visits to the gym.
• Preparing meals.
• Assisting with medication.
• Light cleaning and household duties.
• Completing documentation, care notes, MAR charts as part of compliance and staff responsibility.

The essentials for a Support Worker are:

• You will have a kind nature and good communication
• Good listening skills and a willingness to learn
• A genuine desire to make a real difference in people’s lives
• You will need to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, person-centred values, energy and commitment to providing an exceptional quality service
• Full clean driving licence and access to a car is essential
• Full eligibility to work in the United Kingdom (Sponsorship not Provided)
