This is a nights role, working on a rolling rota - 4 days on, 4 days off - 8pm to 8am.

About the Support Worker Role

As a Support Worker at Compassionate Care Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our clients. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing their independence and quality of life, making a meaningful difference in their daily experiences. Our clients vary from the elderly to adults with learning difficulties and you will be offering a supportive ear, calm presence whilst still bringing an element of fun into their daily activities and needs. The role will be extremely varied, here’s a few ideas of what you might get up to:

  • Assisting with daily routines, including mornings, lunchtimes and evenings
  • Providing personal care to those who require it
  • Offering companionship and attending social activities such as museum trips, football matches, meals out and visits to the gym
  • Preparing meals
  • Assisting with medication
  • Light cleaning and household duties

The essentials for a Support Worker are:

  • Must have Mental Health support work experience
  • You will have a kind nature and good communication
  • Good listening skills and a willingness to learn
  • A genuine desire to make a real difference in people’s lives
  • You will need to demonstrate a 'can do' attitude, person‑centred values, energy and commitment to providing an exceptional quality service
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a car is essential
  • Full eligibility to work in the United Kingdom (Sponsorship not Provided)
