Recovery Support Worker
We are recruiting for Recovery Support Workers to join our Mental Health Intermediate Care service, supporting adults in a time-limited placement to de‑escalate crisis or support with other breakdowns in their current support arrangements.
You’ll play a vital role in promoting recovery, rebuilding confidence and supporting people to regain independence in a calm, structured, supportive environment.
You’ll work closely with the Home Based Treatment Team and other Professional Teams to achieve positive outcomes for individuals throughout their stay at the service.
This is a varied and hands‑on role where no two days are the same.
You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team working closely with each individual to help them meet their goals and manage their mental health safely.
Day Shifts available

- Supporting clients with daily routines and recovery‑focused goals
- Providing emotional support and reassurance in times of distress
- Encouraging healthy routines such as sleep, meals, exercise and self‑care
- Monitoring mental health and reporting concerns to senior staff
- Supporting clients with medication (after training)
- Accompanying people to appointments or social activities
- Promoting self‑confidence and daily living skills
- Light household tasks and meal preparation
