The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment of Care Workers and Support Workers to meet operational staffing needs. The role supports service delivery by ensuring suitable, compliant, and well-vetted candidates are recruited within required timelines. The duration of this role will be 3 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process for Care Workers and Support Workers
- Work closely with the Training & Compliance Manager to understand staffing, training, and compliance requirements
- Source candidates through job boards, community networks, referrals, and social media
- Screen applications and conduct initial interviews
- Coordinate interviews, selection decisions, and job offers
- Ensure all pre-employment checks are completed (right to work, references, DBS/police clearance, health checks as applicable)
- Verify qualifications, experience, and suitability for care roles
- Maintain accurate recruitment and compliance records
- Support onboarding by coordinating induction and mandatory training schedules
- Ensure recruitment activities meet healthcare, safeguarding, and regulatory standards
