This home-based role is pivotal to the organisation, focusing on delivering Positive Behaviour Support across Derby, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, and parts of the East Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide teams and individuals in Positive Behavioural Support through coaching, mentoring, and bespoke training.
- Reinforce, develop, implement, and evaluate Behaviour Support Plans tailored to individual needs.
- Undertake functional assessments and integrate evidence-based interventions to address specific needs.
- Liaise with clinical specialists, managers, staff, and families to ensure high standards and provide guidance.
- Keep up-to-date with research, conferences, and forums; identify and deliver additional PBS training where needed.
- Lead initiatives to reduce restrictive interventions and support multi-disciplinary teamwork for effective practice.
Skills & Experience
- Level 5 qualification relevant to PBS, with willingness to work towards Level 6/7.
- Extensive experience working with people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.
- Driver’s License.
