General Practice with Advanced Services
Are you a Veterinary Surgeon on the lookout for something new? Want to work with an experienced team, and really push your own development? We have partnered with a growing Vets in Cambridgeshire on a newly made MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon vacancy.
The Practice: The practice is set up to deal with near any first opinion case you could think of and comes with a brand new X-Ray machine, an endoscopy kit, and clear ultrasound (plus lab set up, and HT Vista!). Multiple consult rooms and operating theatres as well as facilities to manage orthopaedics, complex cardiology cases and PRP Therapy to name a few. With our own in-patients service, clients and vets get great case continuity too and a hospital standard of care. We’ve been established as part of the community for many years now and are delighted to have been able to open a brand new practice to support more pets from even further afield. The team itself is a close-knit, casual set up that love to support one another. Our Lead Vet has been a Surgeon for nearly 20 years now and loves to support other vets with their own development. We’ve additional Surgeons and 4 RVNs on board right now, plus some non-clinical staff to make sure practice operations all go smoothly. Based near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire, we have great connects from Cambridge, Peterborough, Corby, March, St Neots, Chatteris, Sawtry and all surrounding areas.
The Job: We are happy to negotiate on salaries and packages; for the right vet we are happy to offer up to £100,000. For top end, we would expect a Vet to be able to work full time, be confident in orthopaedics and have a true go-getter attitude to your work. Very health benefits list alongside and the Director is happy to discuss what else you would seek from a new employer. Day-to-day is varied between your surgeries, consulting, imaging and lab work. All things GP are managed internally so you will get some biased in your caseloads if desired, but we ideally are seeking someone ready to get stuck in with anything!
Recommendations: Compass Associates Ltd are working in partnership on this vacancy. If you are not interested, but know someone who is, we offer £500 vouchers for each successful recommendation.
