This role is part of our Cover-More Travel Insurance team in Australia. Cover-More Travel Insurance is Australia’s leading travel insurance and assistance provider and has protected Aussie travellers since 1986. We help safeguard travellers from the unexpected, and support them when medical, travel or security emergencies arise.
The Security Awareness Analyst is responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving security awareness and behaviour change initiatives. The role focuses on reducing human risk, strengthening security culture, and embedding secure behaviours across the organisation through data‑driven, audience‑centered programs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Plan and run monthly simulated phishing campaigns (KnowBe4), including setup, targeting, scheduling, and reporting.
- Monitor campaign performance and analyse behaviour trends, translating data into clear insights and actions.
- Develop and deliver awareness content, communications, and training tailored to broad and high-risk audiences.
- Execute organisation-wide initiatives and events (e.g. Cyber Security Awareness Month, Lunch & Learns).
- Drive targeted follow-up actions such as remedial training and campaigns to address risk areas.
- Support the Security Program Manager with coordination and continuous improvement of the security program.
What you’ll bring:
- Approx 5 years’ experience in security awareness, cyber security, communications, behavioural change, or a related field.
- Strong ownership mindset, able to manage multiple initiatives and deliver in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, engaging messaging for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical capability, able to interpret data, identify trends, and communicate meaningful insights.
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Curious, adaptable, and team-oriented; experience with KnowBe4 or learning design is highly regarded.
