Full time / Permanent position

Mon - Friday 9am - 5pm

Location: Sawbridgeworth - Hertfordshire

Compass Associates are delighted to be working with a leading healthcare provider in their search for a Pharmacy Manager to oversee the Pharmacy department within their local private hospital. The 59-bed hospital provides high-quality healthcare across a range of different specialities including Orthopaedics, Oncology and Ophthalmology. They also provide a range of in-patient services as well as an in-house pharmacy, a physiotherapy department and an imaging department offering a range of diagnostic services.

The hospital is currently searching for an experienced Pharmacist to provide their pharmaceutical knowledge and experience in ensuring the care of the patients at the hospital. You will be responsible for supervising the procurement, preparation, dispensation & distribution of medicines to patients while providing standard of care through the medical management service. You will be ensuring the pharmacy department operates in a timely and consistent manner whilst overseeing the general running of the service, providing clinical input where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Pharmacy MPharm, BSc or BPharm
  • GPHC Registration
  • Previous hospital managerial experience essential
  • Passion for high quality care
  • Motivated individual
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • High sense of personal responsibility

The hospital is located in Sawbridgeworth - commutable from Harlow, Chelmsford, Bishops Stortford, Braintree & Hatfield.
