Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded elderly nursing home near Clacton-on-Sea area, who are seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join their leadership team. This well-established home provides nursing, dementia and residential care and has a strong reputation for high-quality, person-centred care. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead looking to step into a supportive, leadership role.
The Role
- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day clinical and operational running of the home
- Lead, mentor and develop the nursing and care teams
- Ensure the home consistently delivers safe, effective and high-quality care
- Oversee clinical governance, audits, care planning and compliance
- Work closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Act as a positive role model with a hands-on, supportive leadership style
Candidate Requirements
- RGN qualification with an active NMC pin
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager (or equivalent Clinical Lead role)
- Previous experience working within a nursing home environment
- Strong background in elderly and dementia nursing care
- A genuine passion for elderly care and clinical excellence
- Confident leadership, communication and organisational skills
