We are currently supporting a leading independent healthcare provider in the UK with the appointment of a Specialist Oral Surgeon to join their growing surgical team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped clinical environment, focusing on high-quality patient care with strong operational support.
The Role
- You will be responsible for the assessment, management and treatment of patients requiring oral surgery procedures within a surgical centre setting.
- Deliver a range of oral surgery procedures under local anaesthetic and IV sedation.
- Manage patients across outpatient and operative pathways.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Maintain high standards of clinical governance, audit and patient safety.
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement.
Procedures Include
- Simple and surgical tooth extractions.
- Surgical removal of impacted teeth and wisdom teeth.
- Coronectomy procedures.
- Multiple extractions and full dental clearances.
- Upper and lower dental clearance procedures.
High procedural volume with strong earning potential depending on activity.
Requirements
- GDC registered with Specialist Registration in Oral Surgery.
- Relevant CCT or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a wide range of oral surgery procedures.
- Competency in IV sedation (essential).
- Strong clinical judgement and patient-focused approach.
