About the Role
We are proud to be working in exclusive partnership with a values-driven care provider to recruit a Clinical Lead for a quality-focused elderly care home in the Surbiton area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate nurse leader to take on a key clinical role within a high-quality care setting. The home provides nursing, residential, and dementia care, and is seeking a visible, hands-on Clinical Lead committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred care. Working closely with the Home Manager and multidisciplinary team, you will lead clinical practice, drive quality improvements, and support the ongoing development of nursing and care teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong clinical leadership and ensure high standards of care
- Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and best practice
- Lead audits and drive continuous quality improvement
- Support, mentor, and develop nursing and care teams
- Oversee care planning, medications, and clinical operations
- Manage admissions, discharges, and clinical emergencies
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external professionals
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
- Minimum 5 years’ nursing experience
- Experience supervising and managing nursing and care staff
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and inspection processes
- Proven ability to lead high standards of clinical care
- Experience within elderly care and/or dementia services
