Sous Chef – Conference & Events Location: Canary Wharf Salary: Circa £40,000 We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our Conference & Events Team at Canary Wharf. This is a unique role that offers the opportunity to deliver diverse culinary experiences-from high-volume conferences to casual sandwich lunches-while showcasing your leadership and operational skills. Key Responsibilities: Independently manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. Flexibly adapt to varying demands, from catering high-volume conferences to simpler lunches. Lead and direct a team of agency chefs, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. Maintain a cost-effective kitchen by managing budgets, stock, and wastage. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times. About You: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in conference and events catering. Strong ability to work autonomously and manage kitchen operations independently.
