We're currently recruiting a dedicated Weddings, Conference & Events Co-ordinator at Sedgebrook Hall (The Venues Collection) on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday suited around the business. Working hours, 8 hours a day between 8am & 6pm.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Meet with clients to discuss their wedding vision and preferences
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the wedding planning process, including contract negotiation, and budget management
  • Create and maintain detailed timelines and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed on time
  • Communicate with the wedding party to ensure they are informed and comfortable with the plan
  • Handle any unexpected issues or emergencies that may arise during the planning process
  • Manage confirmed bookings and co-ordinate information in order to hand over to the operational team
  • Provide a high level of customer care, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with efficiently and effectively in line with the company guidelines and policies
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the sales office by defining, documenting, and delivering a professional sales service

You will be required to be pro-active and research past and present companies. Used to handling a high volume of enquiries and dealing with those in a timely manner. Be flexible and dedicated to all types of sales enquiries. Opera S&C experienced preferred but not essential.

This role will involve some weekend working due to the nature of wedding showrounds & appointments.
