What you’ll be doing: General Manager – Catering – ESB London Monday – Friday role (occasional weekends will be required to suit business needs) Are you a General Manager who wants to lead and develop winning teams of departmental managers and frontline colleagues to provide exceptional service to our clients and customers and deliver great results for Compass Group. Are you passionate about creating a positive safety and wellbeing culture throughout the team to ensure the safety of people, clients and customers and take responsibility for the delivery of all contracted services, particularly the successful management of the outputs of each of our strategic partners and sub-contractors. More about the role: Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Overseeing the soft catering service delivery including the provision of hospitality and catering Communicate regularly with client Complete action plans following client satisfaction surveys Ensure all client hospitality is delivered to the correct standard and look to identify opportunities to improve and increase the service where possible Analyse, monitor, and manage GP whilst ensuring cost and sales records are accurately inputted and maintained Ensure all customer requirements are communicated to all departments in advance to ensure effective planning Complete/adjust labour schedule in line with sales Analyse and effectively manage all in unit costs Ensure budgets are understood and achieved ensure all costs are managed effectively within budget Who you are: Our Ideal General Manager will: have knowledge of working in a management role within the catering / retail industry You will have the ability to display a real passion for food and customer service and be financially and commercially astute. Good Communication skills – both written and verbal.
