Overview:
We are excited to be partnering with a well-established and reputable care home provider with six care homes across the UK, specialising in providing outstanding short- and long-term care for serving and ex-Service personnel and their dependants. They are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Nurse to join their dedicated team on a full-time, permanent basis at their elderly nursing home located in Cromer, Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about delivering exceptional care to older adults in a supportive, team-focused environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing team
- Ensure high standards of personalised care in line with individual care plans
- Oversee medication administration and clinical procedures
- Maintain compliance with regulatory bodies and internal quality standards
- Support and mentor junior staff and contribute to ongoing staff development
- Act as a key point of contact for residents’ families and external health professionals
Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse (Adult) - RGN or RMN
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership role within an elderly nursing home
- Excellent clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (8am - 8pm)
