Would you like to join a reputable care home provider with exciting plans to further increase their portfolio?

Compass Corporate Services are currently working in partnership with a reputable care home provider with homes in and around the London area. They are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join their team to lead on all aspects of financial performance and reporting across the organisation. The successful applicant will work closely with the CEO and be a crucial element when driving further growth across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial operations of the organisation, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring their development and performance.
• Develop and implement financial and data driven strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Utilize new digital / cloud based technology to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency across the group.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is also highly desirable.
• Experience in the care sector in the United Kingdom
• Proven experience in a finance management role, with a track record of managing multiple staff members.
• Strong commercial and operational acumen.
• Proficiency in financial software and technology, with a willingness to continue to develop your knowledge and incorporate the latest technological advancements to increase efficiency across the business
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
