Parts Administrator Stanton, Bury St. Edmunds Compass Point Recruitment is thrilled to be working with an established business seeking an experienced Parts Administrator. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of all open orders and enquiries, ensuring the smooth operation of the business. From sourcing parts and fulfilling orders to ensuring timely deliveries and payments, you will be the first point of contact for customers. Proficiency in Sage 200 and Microsoft Office is essential. Key Responsibilities: Handling telephone enquiries and assisting customers in identifying parts. Creating quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders to meet customer needs. Arranging imports from Dutch and USA offices, including customs clearances. Monitoring open sales orders and purchase orders. Ensuring accurate export documentation, including weights and origins. Packing and labelling orders securely, with photos or documentation as required. Organizing order dispatches via online systems. Investigating and resolving customer queries. Completing customs import declarations when needed. Managing credit control and chasing customer payments. Assisting with general requests and parts queries from USA and NL offices. Supporting service visit arrangements, including quotes, orders, and bookings. Managing bookings for new sealer sales and creating deposit invoices. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in a similar administrative role. Strong data entry skills with exceptional accuracy. Proficiency in computerized systems, especially Sage 200 and Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A proactive problem-solver who works well independently and in a team.
