Compass Point Recruitment is excited to be hiring for a fantastic opportunity as a Laboratory Service Engineer. This role focuses on the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of our client's proprietary flow chemistry equipment. The position requires travel approximately 50% of the time, with installations and occasional service support across Europe, the USA, and the Far East. Main responsibilities: As part of your training, you will partake and complete the qualification of the companies flow chemistry systems during your time at the office, when you are not travelling Perform maintenance and upgrade services on-site in laboratories and at factory Discussing applications and gathering information from customers' experiences Ensure customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventative maintenance and repair. Technical support to customers by phone and email. Creation of technical bulletins and guides to help customers Skills/Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years' experience in a laboratory service or installation role • NVQ Level 3 or Higher Diploma/Degree in engineering or chemical engineering • Good logical troubleshooting techniques. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • You enjoy travelling and visiting customers. • Able to work with minimal supervision after training. • Confident with Windows, Excel, Word.
