Salary: £26,000 £30,000 per annum (DOE)

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing manufacturing business in Bury St Edmunds. We are seeking an Electro‑Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly and inspection of in‑house manufactured equipment. This hands‑on role will contribute to production efficiency and high‑quality standards across the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect wiring harnesses, perform small connector crimping and soldering
• Assemble mechanical and electro‑mechanical components, including small tubing and fittings
• Support improvements to product assembly through new methods and techniques
• Assist production technicians with fault‑finding
• Report slow processes and quality concerns to line management
• Manage workload to meet production targets

Skills & Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with electro‑mechanical assemblies
• Experience in fault‑finding and troubleshooting electro‑mechanical assemblies
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good technical understanding of materials
• Practical problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
