The Company is headquartered in London, UK, with offices in New York City in the US. We focus on developing novel treatments that have the potential to improve the lives of those who are suffering with mental health conditions and who are not helped by current treatments. Compass Pathways is pioneering a new paradigm for treating mental health conditions focused on rapid and durable responses through the development of our investigational COMP360 synthetic psilocybin treatment, potentially a first in class treatment. COMP360 has Breakthrough Therapy designation from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and has received Innovative Licensing and Access Pathway (ILAP) designation in the UK for treatment-resistant depression (TRD). We are currently in phase 3 for TRD and have completed phase 2 studies for PTSD and anorexia nervosa, with plans for further late-stage studies in PTSD.
The Technical Coordinator, Manufacturing and Supply will be responsible for administration and coordination of key activities within the department, across Compass and interfacing with Compass partners.
Location: Hybrid in our London office or remote in the United Kingdom.
Reports to: VP, Manufacturing & Supply.
Duration: 12-month contract.
Roles And Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate Manufacturing & Supply project related activities
- Manage financial activities associated with various projects (including purchase orders, invoices, payments, and budget monitoring)
- Manage execution and storage of key documentation
- Awareness and training in relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain point of contact for internal and external parties and manage external relationships
- Facilitate subject matter expert group meetings and communication within the team
- Communicate deadlines and facilitate project reporting
- Provide administrative support to the Technical and Project Team ensuring all project files and departmental documentation are consistently organised
Candidate Profile:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in life sciences an advantage
- Prior experience of GxP (i.e. GMP) compliance desirable
- Project and team coordination experience preferred
- Good implementation, logistical and administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, MS Planner)
- Great relationship skills; flexible and able to work collaboratively in a team and independently
- Ability to multi-task and work in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong ability to build strong relationships with external and internal contacts
- Relevant educational background desirable; experience in mental health care or life sciences an advantage
