The Role

To support a lady who has autism and mental health difficulties. She is looking for a friendly individual to support her with day-to-day life and physical activities.

Main Duties

  • Support with finances, and paying bills
  • Support with laundry
  • Support with keeping the house tidy and clean
  • Encourage daily walks with the dog (you will also need to attend)
  • Support with general admin duties (e.g., prompting to check emails and responding to emails)
  • Support with general physical and mental encouragement
  • Support with long-term goals
  • Support with accessing the community
  • Support with appointments
  • Support with finding activities, hobbies that are of interest

Personal Qualities and Attributes required

  • Respectful of confidentiality and privacy
  • Responsible, reliable and trustworthy
  • Respectful of dignity and independence
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Punctual and flexible

Experience in Autism and mental health would be preferred, but not essential.

Car owner with a driving licence and business insurance required.

May be subject to a DBS check; employer may ask for references.

Must be able to prove the right to work in the UK; no sponsorships available.

Hours: 4 hours per week, to be worked on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am onwards with flexibility around days that can be discussed.

Pay: £13.00 per hour or £19.00 per hour self-employed rate.

Job Type: Part time.
