The Role
To support a young man living with Muscular Dystrophy, to live an exciting and fulfilling life.
Main Duties
- To provide all aspects of personal care
- To use a hoist
- Food and drink preparation
- To support getting out of bed / going to bed each day
- To attend Dr / hospital appointments as and when required
- You will also be required to cover for colleagues on leave and sickness, and on occasions work extra hours, agreed in advance
- To assist to attend social events, such as meeting friends, day trips, and evening trips

- Punctual, and flexible
- Suitable for a casual working environment but always remaining professional.
Car owner with driving license is essential.

Please note that this role may be subject to a DBS check, your employer may also ask for you to supply references.
You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
Hours: Part or full time hours available, and can be negotiated.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Holidays: 28 days per year (pro rata) including Bank holidays
