We are looking for an experienced Lead Chef to manage kitchen operations, deliver high-quality food and lead our kitchen team. Working closely with the General Manager, you will ensure excellent customer care, food standards and strong commercial performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver high-quality food to a consistently high standard
- Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team: manage rotas, cover, and staff development
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health, hygiene and legal requirements
- Maintain strict cleaning standards and accurate kitchen records
- Support menu planning, pricing and costing to achieve profit targets
- Manage stock ordering and control to minimise waste
- Assist with functions and events
- Handle customer feedback professionally and positively
- Lead by example to maximise efficiency and quality
Experience and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a management or leadership role (Essential)
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance
