£50,000 per annum plus benefits. Levy is the driving force behind the legendary food and drink experience at All England Tennis Club, Wimbledon, and we want YOU to be part of it! As the official catering partner of the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC), we deliver world-class hospitality to over 450,000 guests each year. From the Members’ Clubhouse to food stands and lounges, our team of 2,200 catering staff and 355 chefs craft unforgettable culinary moments at 51 kitchens and 27 restaurants across the grounds.
This role is a hands-on, operationally-minded position to own, manage, and elevate the end-to-end technology experience at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. This is a ground-level, high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced live environments, understands hospitality operations, and can troubleshoot, deliver, and lead technology across one of the most prestigious sporting events on the planet.
Purpose of Role: As Venue Tech and Innovation Lead, you will be the front-line owner of all venue technology at Wimbledon — from tills, tablets, EPOS and payment devices to digital ordering, operational hardware, and live-event readiness. You’ll work on-site, shoulder-to-shoulder with venue teams, solving problems in real time and ensuring our technology is Championship-ready. Beyond day-to-day operations, you’ll help shape and deploy new innovations that improve speed, efficiency, and guest experience across both Championships and year-round operations.
Responsibilities
- Venue Technology Leadership: Act as the primary technical lead on the ground at Wimbledon, particularly during Championships.
- EPOS and Devices: Own, support, and optimise all EPOS systems, tills, tablets, printers, PEDs, kiosks, and hard installs across the estate. Ensure every system is Championship-ready, tested, stable, and fully operational.
- Hands-On Troubleshooting: Be the go-to problem solver for all on-site technical issues — diagnosing fast, resolving quickly, escalating only when needed. Work in real time in a live hospitality environment, keeping service moving even under pressure and providing rapid venue-level support during service peaks.
- Operational Partnership: Build strong relationships with venue stakeholders — F&B managers, chefs, supervisors, AELTC teams and contractors. Understand operational challenges of hospitality at scale and support teams with tech that actually works for them. Be a trusted presence on the floor, not behind a desk.
- Innovation & Improvement: Introduce practical, user-friendly technology solutions that improve speed, efficiency, or experience. Support the development of simple workflow tools (Power Apps experience is a plus). Partner with internal teams to pilot new digital solutions and share best practices across Levy venues.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the Levy UK Technology team and the E15 data team to support insight delivery. Ensure hardware and systems are maintained in line with Levy and AELTC standards. Document issues, trends, and opportunities to inform future improvement.
Requirements
Essential
- Strong EPOS expertise — setup, support, plug-and-play configuration, and multi-venue rollout.
- Hands-on technology experience across tills, tablets, printers, PEDs, and in-venue tech.
- Operational mindset with experience in hospitality, stadiums, arenas, airports, or similar environments.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot quickly in live, high-pressure settings.
- Self-starter who thrives independently — no hand-holding.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust at venue level.
- The stamina and focus to work on the ground for long periods during Championships.
Desirable
- Experience using or building Power Apps or other low-code tools.
- Background in major events, multi-site venues, or large-scale food & beverage operations.
- Familiarity with the culture, standards, and operational rhythm of The Championships at Wimbledon.
