Pabulum Catering are now recruiting for a Support Chef Manager covering Essex and North London to help us deliver exceptional food experiences to our children. As a Support Chef, you will be working in a passionate and hard-working team to create an outstanding experience for our school. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working together with our onsite teams to provide support and training
- Supporting our portfolio of schools to maintain the smooth running of the kitchen
- To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and following the companies brand standards
- To comply with all Company policies and regulations in respect of health, safety, and environmental management at work and to ensure the highest standards of kitchen practice and hygiene
- Take responsibility for menu planning, production levels, food costing, ordering and stock control, as appropriate.
Our ideal Support Chef will be:
- Passionate about food and great customer service
- A fantastic communicator who works well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills throughout our customer and client journey are a must, with excellent supervisory skills being the real key to managing, developing, and motivating a team.
- You will need to be financially astute, but we'll make sure you receive full training in all our processes and software systems to help you.
- A craft background with qualifications/experience to match.
