We're looking for a Retail Assistant who will be the face of our business, delivering exceptional customer service for Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. You'll join a team that takes pride in what they do, takes pride in their food and most of all, join a company that takes pride in its people.

Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: 5 out of 7 days. Please note: This role is contracted to 49.2 weeks per year.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Serving customers, ensuring they receive an easy and seamless personalised experience
  • Being knowledgeable about our service and helping customers with natural, engaging service
  • Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Handling cash and operating the cash register
  • Complying with Health and Safety regulations
