Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming caf environment.
  • Supervise and support the caf team throughout daily operations.
  • Lead shifts and take responsibility for the caf in the absence of the Unit Manager.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality food and beverages, including coffee.
  • Ensure caf standards, food safety, hygiene, and brand requirements are consistently maintained.
  • Support the induction, training, and development of new team members.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures in line with company standards.
  • Support stock control, food waste management, cash handling, and caf administration.
  • Help deliver caf sales targets while maintaining excellent operational standards.
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.

Our ideal Caf Supervisor will

  • Be passionate about great-tasting food and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Have previous supervisory experience within a caf, hospitality, catering, or retail environment
  • Have a minimum of two years' experience in a customer-facing catering or hospitality role
  • Have experience leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
  • Be confident making decisions and taking ownership when managing shifts
  • Have a strong understanding of food hygiene, health & safety, and operational standards (a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is advantageous)
