Location: WC2B 6AH
Rate of pay: £43,000 per annum
Working pattern: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm, Event Overtime @ 1.5
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create seasonal, innovative, and client-specific menus that meet the diverse needs of the café, client lounge, and events while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Ensure all dishes meet the established standards for taste, presentation, and portion size, while monitoring food quality throughout service to maintain consistency.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including supervising and training kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, and managing stock levels for all areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, addressing special dietary needs or requests, and ensuring that the café, lounge, and events are delivering a positive and memorable guest experience.
- Working alongside a team, including a Head Chef and Chef De Partie.
- Assisting with up to 3 events weekly (paid at 1.5).
- Catering for our client lounge, up to 18 meeting rooms and a cafe that covers up to 120 people daily.
