Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights clients and customers
- Overseeing menu changes and food service improvements
- Acting on customer feedback to enhance food services
- Contributing to new menu development and food concepts
- Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
- Monitoring inventories and ensuring well-stocked kitchens
- Maintaining hygiene standards through cleaning responsibilities
- Adhering to Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations
Our ideal Sous Chef will:
- Be passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
- Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
- Have team supervision experience
- Have experience in a similar chef role
- Possess a Food Hygiene certificate
- Be flexible in working hours
