Overview
We\'re looking for a passionate and hands-on Lead Chef to head up our small but busy kitchen. This role is ideal for a Sous Chef ready to step into a Head Chef position and take full ownership of a high-volume, quality-driven operation. Shifts: Mon-Fri, day time.
Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a small team
Full accountability for kitchen operations, including:
H&S compliance
Cost of sales (COS) and gross profit (GP) targets
Dish execution using a recipe matrix
Collaborate closely with the General Manager to drive the business forward
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or above in a busy kitchen
Strong leadership and team development skills
Organised, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented
Knowledge of kitchen financials, H&S, and compliance
A team player who\'s ready to take the next step
