Overview
Soft Services Manager
Are you an experienced facilities professional with a strong background in managing multiple soft service functions? We\’re looking for a hands-on leader to oversee the day-to-day delivery of a wide range of services at our client site.
Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting teams across soft services ensuring consistently high performance.
- Overseeing specialist services delivered via sub-contractors.
- Handling client escalations promptly and professionally, maintaining strong relationships built on trust.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety legislation and health & safety requirements.
- Managing stock levels for cleaning materials, disposables and catering supplies to guarantee continuity of service.
- Coordinating hospitality and event support, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Organising and monitoring reactive work requests, making sure issues are resolved without delay.
Qualifications
- Previous experience managing IFM bundled services including cleaning and security.
- Highly motivated, proactive and committed to delivering first-class customer service.
- Skilled at managing people and comfortable addressing performance or HR challenges.
- An effective communicator who can build rapport at all levels.
- Well-organised with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- IT literate, particularly with Microsoft Office.
- A driver with a full UK licence, flexible to support occasional out-of-hours requirements.
- Hold or previously held a SIA licence.
